This Artist, Cleezi, born in
Vallejo, California, is certainly no stranger to performing. Even though
the name, Cleezi, is unknown, it will not be long before you will be taken
in by the element and style he brings to the music industry. This up and
coming artist was nicknamed Cleezi by his cousins, which was derived from
his last name, has been rapping and producing music for over twelve years.
At age 12, he had written and co-produced his first demo entitled, “Mac
Cleod, Ya Can’t Catch Up”, that was the first time he worked in a studio
that elevated his love for music.
His mother, Pamela Nickolas, one of twelve siblings, came from a very
talented and musical family who passed on this rich environment of good
fortune and raised Cleezi and his younger sister in it. When Cleezi was
17, he and his cousins formed a rap group called “272” (2-7-2).
“272”performed in various cities throughout the West Coast. Currently, the
group is on a hiatus as each member ventures out to pursue their own solo
careers. Cleezi’s passion for creativity resulted in Cleezi Crush
Productions, where he and his top artist, Tanya, were invited and
performed at some of the hottest night clubs on the East Coast and has
recently been invited to perform in Cuba. To invest quality time to his
art and his first CD Block-to-Block, he signed with Millenium Independent
Entertainment, CEO and President, Udell Hyde, who is also located in
Vallejo, California.
This multi-talented artist also writes and produces R&B, rap and an
innovative sound he calls “THAZZ” (thuggish-style with a jazz flavor). He
is also in the process of producing four new up and coming rap artists.
Cleezi’s originality and creativity is expressed through his work, as he
produces the majority of his material. His unique sound, Thazz, has been
well received.
Despite the many obstacles life brings to him, Cleezi continues to remain
focused, driven, and determined to perfect his craft. He stays centered
and anchored by his good-natured soul and his down-to-earth attitude.
Cleezi lives by and believes that by, “Letting other peoples negativity be
the fuel to his success”, is the bridge that will carry him to the top of
the charts. |
